For the last nine years, the Battle Creek Christmas Parade has utilized the "Parade Cloud" Parade Management system for registration and all other aspects of the administration of the parade. The parade is staged in a compressed format and the space allocated for you in staging is laid out utilizing GIS Mapping.
Inasmuch, it is imperative that you provide us with an accurate length for your float and towing vehicle (see sample photo below). Additional buffer spacing is built in to every entry to ensure that all entries will fit where designated. THIS IS AN AUTOMATED REGISTRATION SYSTEM. APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY REJECTED WITHOUT NOTIFICATION. CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE SUBMITTED THE APPLICATION WITH THIS INFO. For walking units, figure 10 feet per 12 people. We will adjust as needed.

The Battle Creek Christmas Parade is solely owned and produced by the Harper Creek Optimist Club under permits issued by the City of Battle Creek and the Michigan Department of Transportation and in cooperation with the Battle Creek International Festival of Lights, Downtown Battle Creek and AccessVision.
